Autumn Fire

Yellow flame and red fire,
Orange plumes against dark green needles,
Fire dancing as the wind blows it,
A rustle not a roar or crackle,
Fire cool and cold,
But bright with colour,
Ranging yet staying still,
The fire of autumn.
